The Need

Guinea is a country of approximately 13 million people with an estimated 780,000 people living with diabetes. The entire country only has 1 (one) hospital specialized in diabetes care. With a median income of only $950.00 a year, the average diabetic patient is unable to afford even the most basic diabetic medications and supplies. Because of this, many patients lose their eyesight, kidney function, limbs, and even their lives.
